Beschreibung
Learn the basics, while making your own mini needle-felted wool painting! Needle-felting is a dry wool-felting process, where special barbed needles are repeatedly jabbed through loose wool, tangling the fibers together, creating a flat 2D felted piece.
This 3 hour workshop is intended for those who don’t know what needle felting is and/or have always wanted to try it out, or who have only poked around a bit without knowing exactly what to make. We will start with a simple introduction to needle felting, where you learn the basics about the tools and materials you need to get started with and how to use them. In the workshop you will make your own (approximate) 20x25cm / 7×10” needle felted piece.
There is no need to bring anything for the workshop, everything you need is included in your Workshop and Materials fees (dyed wool roving, a felting needle, foam to felt on, and a base for felting into). There are also several photos for inspiration. If you wish, you may bring a photo of a simple landscape along.
Suitable for ages 12 and older.
