In this 3-hour hands-on workshop, you will brush up your brioche skills, read your brioche stitches, and fix common brioche mistakes without fear : adding or removing increases and decreases, correcting yarn over mishaps, and performing knitting surgery after your cat played with your project…
Build up your confidence and put an end to your unravel-one-stitch-at-a-time days !
Homework
Use the recommended yarn and needles to make a 25 – stitch, 5 to 10 cm long two – colour brioche sample worked flat. Bring your sample to class with live stitches (do not bind off, keep your project on your needles, ready for more action!)
Bring Along
- smooth yarn in 2 contrasting colours (10 to 20 g of leftovers in each colour)
- and a pair of CIRCULAR needles in a size that matches your yarn, with a short cord length so you can work comfortably in the round without casting on too many stitches.
- 1 self-locking marker
- A crochet hook to pick up stitches.
- one pair of smaller circular needles.
