Beschreibung
Knitting socks using the stranded colorwork technique with small needles can be difficult at first, but it is very rewarding and produces beautiful results. They are great fun and quick to knit. The goal of this workshop is to give you the confidence to tackle any sock pattern using colourwork to create socks that fit perfectly. You will work the colourwork section of the popular Stone Knits sock pattern – ´Crunching Carrot socks’. You will learn various techniques and Charlotte will show you the best color combinations to knit in colorwork. You will learn how to read and knit from a colorwork chart. She will review the techniques with the English and continental style. She demonstrate how to knit 2 colors in one row, explain more about gauge and tension to help get your socks to stretch over your heel and fit well, long floats management, fixing mistakes and Charlotte’s own personal tips and tricks for knitting her own colorwork sock designs (many which she will bring with her). She will also be demonstrating how to duplicate stitch details too and how to weave in ends with colorwork.
