Description
Discover different methods of incorporating letters and words into your personal knitting technique. Learn how pixel fonts or other fonts can be translated using lifting stitches, shadow knitting or patchwork knitting. Learn the different steps for translating fonts to knitting patterns using an example.
At the beginning of the class you will get an overview of the Typeknitting book and possible points of connection to your previous knitting projects. We will then focus on lifting stitches and mosaic knitting to construct individual letters and pattern repeats. You’ll learn about different knittable font design grids, as well as how to modify and scale letters. So nothing stands in the way of your own knitted words!
