An introduction for knitters, dyers and wool enthusiasts.
What is wool made of and why does it have all these properties we love? How is it able to transport moisture away from our body and why does it never really get dirty? What happens during the superwash treatment and how does it affect wool? What are dyes and how do they stick to the fiber?
In this class, we’re going to take a journey into science to answer all these questions. No previous knowledge on chemistry or science is required – we’re going to approach it step by step. At the end of the class there will be plenty of time for answering your questions and discussions.
