Description
In this workshop participants will learn how the Icelandic lopi-sweater is structured, how to design a pattern and how the sweater is made.
Icelandic lopi-sweater is not complicated to knit and surprisingly easy to design, as long as you know how to knit and follow a pattern.
The lopi-sweater is a big part of Icelandic culture, and every Icelander has at least one sweater. We care for them and keep them as long as they last.
Margret and Anna Dora are both experienced knitters and lopi-sweater designers. This class has been popular at wool-weeks in Iceland, Shetland and on Swiss Yarn Festival.
Yarn (Lopi) will be included as well as pencil and colors.
