Intarsia is a playful, approachable way to add color to your knitting — without the bulk of stranded knitting. It’s the perfect technique to bring new life, movement, and personality to your stitches. In this class, Aimée will guide you through all her favorite intarsia tips and tricks which you can apply when knitting her brand-new design, Play — a colorful shawl created especially for this workshop. Whether you’re just beginning with intarsia or already an aficionado, this class is for you. If you’ve taken Aimée’s first intarsia class, this session will help you go further and apply your skills to a brand-new project. If not, don’t worry — no prior experience is required. Every participant will receive the Play pattern, along with the confidence to knit intarsia with ease. This is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and put it into practice right away — and to discover just how fun intarsia can be!

Bring Along
- Bring knitting needles in sizes 4mm to 5mm
- Yarn: There will be yarn provided for the class exercises but feel free to bring DK / worsted weight yarn in a few different solid colors (no speckled colors) so you can have enough contrast. Leftover yarn is ideal for this class, yarn should be caked already. Aimée strongly recommends using non superwash yarns for this.
