Description
If you are familiar with 3D knitwear, you know there are various methods of achieving texture in hand knitting. However, in this class we will dig deeper on combining several of these methods in an effort to achieve an unachievable – use knitting techniques that offer elasticity and malleability in order to create structured crisp lines reminiscent of ancient art of paper folding, or any other
geometric iterations. Students can choose to swatch or cast on and put their newfound knowledge to practice by working on either YABANE COWL or COMPLEAT COWL patterns for making their own wearable origami accessories.
